Four-wave-mixing based silicon integrated optical isolator with dynamic non-reciprocity

Abstract
A silicon integrated optical isolator with dynamic non-reciprocity based on the four-wave-mixing nonlinear effect is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Measurement results show that >17 dB isolation ratio and <12 dB insertion loss can be achieved.
